Dr Mona Botros started practicing medicine in Egypt in 1989 as a Pathologist.
In 2006 Dr Mona and her family moved to Australia. She started working in Pathology in 2010 in various Victorian Hospital’s including The Royal Children’s Hospital. She has extensive experience in Immunology and blood diseases.
Dr Mona’s area of interest is Endocrine and this comes from her history and experience of working in Pathology.
Dr Mona also worked for VMPF and Alan Robert’s International Medical Graduates Support & Advisory Service as a tutor and lecturer. It is in this role that she is assisting International Medical Graduates with their exams and integration into the Australian Healthcare System. Her students are very thankful for the wealth of knowledge and experience that she is able to provide them with. She is a well-respected mentor.
Dr Mona worked as a GP in Carrum Downs for several years before her program placement changed. She then commenced working in Glen Waverley where she still works to date.
Dr Mona Botros is fluent in 3 languages; English, Arabic and French.
Her hobbies include playing basketball, traveling, reading, swimming and spending time with her husband and 3 children.
Dr Mona is very appreciative of a great doctor-patient relationship.
